So far this spring/summer here in Michigan, we have seen scorching temperatures of 95 degrees and above. Mix in humidity and it is truly an outdoor sauna! That was last week and part of the week before. This weeks starts with colder weather, dropping to the mid 70’s and cloudy skies! Is it me, or has this year just been awfully strange? And since the weather can’t make up its mind here, I am suddenly itching to go where it does- maybe Hawaii?
I love traveling within the 50 states, and hope to one day eventually make a stop in every one. I also enjoy local getaways as well, and being in the Great Lakes state, its always a treat! Whether, it’s a week, or a weekend, taking some time away is always needed to stay healthy and sane. Haha.
Here are some places I’ve been to already this year: Chicago, San Diego, and the Grand Canyon!
